Is anyone an expert with special needs? Gracie is a 5 year old blind horse. One of her eyes is missing as it has been removed and the other does not work. She was being raised in a junkyard with no other animals. she navigates so well you don't even know she is blind. She LOVES her treats, knows and comes to her name and is queen of the feeder. She needs special attention and a corral that stays the same. She mostly needs a loving owner who can teach her to trust. She came in not allowing anyone to touch her. She does not like her face touched but will now allow us to pet her nose as much as we want. She will tolerate grooming and is good with her feet but does not enjoy it. She is starting to follow us around like a puppy dog and wants to be loved but something in her past has her skiddish. She will only be adopted to a very special, caring home. She will not do well by herself. She has lead kids around supposedly but we do not have anyone small enough to get on her. She is small pony sized. Liberty is an exceptional mini in every way. His color, his disposition, his personality, his confirmation, and his ability to get along with everyone and every animal. He is now 4 years old. We raised him from a weanling planning on using him as a breeding stallion, but due to life circumstances we have sold off our herd and he is just now ready to breed. We have kept him because we love him, but need to sell him too. Liberty has been started in driving and is great at it. Willing and very laid back. Nothing bothers this little guy. He is great with kids. He would make a great trick horse as he learns fast and is willing to try. Liberty has his permanent registration with AMHR. Both his parents are appy's.
